 SAFER CYCLING ON THE ROCK!

Safer cycling conditions will encourage more cyclists who will then use cars and motorbikes less, thereby reducing congestion and pollution.  This will lead to a healthier community, allow the road network to flow for essential vehicles, and ultimately result in a better quality of life for all.

We continue to lobby the Government to provide safer cycling conditions which can initially be achieved effectively and efficiently with:

1. Advance stop boxes   2. Signage and street stencils   3. Educational advertising.

The National Day Cycle gives the community of Gibraltar a further opportunity to support safer cycling on the Rock.  Show your support by joining the Facebook group ‘Stay Calm and Support Safe Cycling on the Rock’ and, if you are available, meet us on your bike at Europa Point by the lighthouse on National Day for a group photo and enjoy a FREE coffee at the Europa Point Cafe.
